Oliver Peoples Glasses
Understated luxury from Los Angeles since 1986

Los Angeles · Since 1986
A box of forgotten frames
Oliver Peoples began in 1986, when opticians Larry Leight and Kenny Schwartz, with Dennis Leight, were looking for eyewear for a new boutique in West Hollywood. At an auction in Connecticut they bought a lot of vintage American frames, still in their original packaging, for $5,000.
Those frames set the tone: understated, handsome shapes with fine details, first made with the Japanese manufacturer EYEVAN in Sabae. Today the collection is designed in Los Angeles, Italy and Japan.
EYE Opticians stocks Oliver Peoples in Birmingham. Come in to try the collection, and we will fit your frames with lenses made for your prescription.
